The Pork is Rubbed!

Island Kauai, Na Pali CoastImage via Wikipedia

If the rub I just rubbed all of the 20 lbs of pork tastes as good as it smells I think we are in business! I can't wait to try it tomorrow. I also pulled a turkey out of the freezer to roast on Wednesday. Whatever is left over will be made in to turkey pot pie filling. The freezer is just about full, so I need to empty it before I can add to it. lol

I have a bunch of frozen chicken thighs in there, so I am going to make these. I am also thinking of making a bunch of the Pasta alla Marlboro Man that the Pioneer Woman posted today. That totally looks like something we would all enjoy.

Anyway, today I ran the paperwork that needs to be filled out for my mom to be able to take time off through the Family Medical Leave Act to my doctor, went to 3 (!!) stores (Save a lot, Sam's and Walmart) and took Ethan out to lunch. I got my bathroom organized, took a huge load of stuff to the thrift store. I swear - it seems like no matter how much I get rid of, there is still crap to get rid of!

Tomorrow, I am going to play group - even though all of my kids are too old - to hang out with friends. I will work on the dining room some more, clean off my desk and hang a cabinet in the boys bathroom.

Wednesday and Thursday are Marty's days off, but he is so tired that we will probably just hang out at home. I have so much to do, I am perfectly fine with that.
